Personality: Dask is a calm, cool, collected teen who is not afraid to go far beyond his limits. He also has a strong competitive streak, along with a pit of jealousy. He shows his competitive side when he challenges Sai, saying that his heart is stronger than Sai's heart. The jealousy grew when he learned about Sai possessing multiple powerful forms. The jealousy turned into rage, resulting in the battles against Sai throughout their travels. Dask has many realizations. One of these realizations was him realizing that he let his heart become weak. From that moment on, he began to shy away from the darkness in his heart. Through the scores of fights and battles in the Realm of Light, he makes another big realization: he can't get rid of the darkness in his heart. He matured immensely, and along with leaving his past behind him, he also left a lot of his unfortunate traits. He shows a great amount of loyalty and care for his friends. Another good personality trait he has is a strong protectiveness over his friends. He still has a bit of jealousy and competitiveness in him.

Fighting Style: In comparison to Sai's dual-wield style, Dask attacks with a fast one-handed style with his Keyblade of Hope. Dask attacks very quickly with his weapon in combat, and is just as able with his weapons as Sai is with his. His strength and agility are best demonstrated in Traverse Town, where he is known as the strongest child on the world, and possesses an athletic springing kick if knocked down. Dask's other main form of attack is Dark Firaga, in which he fires multiple blue fireballs of dark energy. Dask and Sai have battled many times, but it is still unclear whom is stronger. Dask is able to turn into his Dark Form which increases his powers and grants him the Keyblade of False Hopes, which is a darker version of the Keyblade of Hope. Dask's enhanced dark powers under possession are Dark Raid, where he throws a spinning Keyblade of False Hopes, Dark Break where he performs a powerful jump attack, and Dark Aura where he dashes around the area at high speed slashing all in his path. Dask can Dark Shield to project a barrier, and possesses numerous other powers. Dask is able to project waves of dark energy from his Keyblade in addition to unleashing fast combos and Dark Firaga barrages.
